Family Weekend

Well, family weekend was a success. Alec got dropped off to me Friday morning at 8:45am and stayed with me ALL weekend. He shadowed me on Friday and went to my two morning classes (learning community). He was a little bored but he made it through both classes, and took an econ quiz with my class and actually had a better answer than I did...so not cool...but it made him feel good about himself, that he was actually learning things in school. I gave him a in depth tour of Flagler (which isn’t a whole lot), we ate lunch at the dhall (he loved the plethora of options), then went to the condo for a little with Amanda and then I left them for a play date and went and rain some errands with Johnny. Those two are sooo cute together, Amanda’s officially apart of the family:] Ate dinner at the dhall then Alec went and bonded with the boys while us girls got ready and had “happy” time:P We met back up with the boys and since nothing was going on (since it was family weekend) we decided to just cruise around downtown st.augustine like we always do when weare bored. We took a nice little stroll down St. George Street, and it was only a matter of minutes before we heard “wonderwall” by Oasis playing from a restaurant. Of course Amanda and I instantly stopped and began singing and dancing obnoxiously. This continued on for about 2 hours…our whole little Flagler family dancing and singing in the middle of St.george Street…it was awesome. We even ran upstairs to see the little two man band who was playing, and we danced and sang with them for a song. Best night I’ve had at Flagler hands down. We introduced Alec to taco shop after, he was in heaven. Trent hit on some middle aged women (one who was a porn star) and then Amanda got in a British fight with a group of people…she was screaming god knows what to these people in a British accent…haha 7 people against little ole her…it was hilarious. We then proceeded to walk around downtown until everyone called it a night. I however…decided to go back out for a rendezvous in the preus…haha. it was a Goodnight:]

Saturday was a pretty lazy day. Got brunch in the dhall, then took Alec and Josh to hangout by the pool at the condo with the fam. Awkward conversations with my parents about partying...haha, theyare pretty cool about it though so its all good. Ate dinner at the dhall then went to the soccer game with alec and amanda and we met up with mr ty mac:] boy is he all grown up, he's thinking of coming to Flagler next year which would be just oh so exciting. I can't imagine if we all came here, it would be greeat:] The boys won 2-1 and are conference champions. Once again, unfortunately for Alec, there wasnt much going on, so we went to Trents friends hotel beachside for the night. Played some pong, ate some food, then passsssed out...four of us in a queen size bed. Found some things out today I didnt really want to know about Trent..and my trust level has decrease significantly..which is bad since my trust for guys is already pretty miniscule. OHWELL.

Sunday=blahh. Soo extremely tired. Sleep terrible, had to get up and go to lunch with the family (sad saying goodbye). Then I came back to the dorm and attempted to nap, which deffiently didnt happen. Ate an early dinner, banged out some homework in the library and then made a midnight run to Carmellos. Deffiently ate a full meal at 1230am...I really need to stop eating so damn much...Iv gained almost ten pounds since Iv been here and have deffiently lost my figure...its depressing...but thats college for you, freshman 15:P

Well, it was an eventfull weekend, but overall it was a success. I got Alec excited about going to college, and even more excited about coming to Flagler. My work is done.

Redemption

Today...was a good day. I deffiently redeamed myself from my last two shitty days. I actually woke up for my monring classes, made it on time, gave a speech that wasnt half bad, got my hair cut with amanda, took a lovely walk on the beach, went and did my laundry and got food with Johnny. It was nice:] (s.g.c....;]) and the weather is absolutely BEAUTIMOUS. Makes me happy. Im so ready for christmas time, fall is in the air and I love it. Walked around st.auggy with Amanda after dessert and just took in the wonderful weather...



then went for a skate and jammed out, and then went and visited the fam at the condo (ate a whole bag of chips with salsa...champ). AND Alec comes tomorrow! It's going to be a good weekend.

I had a pretty down last few days, overthinking stupid pointless things and stress was way to overwhellming and I just couldnt seem to deal. Today, however, I washed away my worries with a wonderful day. Days like today make me love life. Things like boys, crushes, girl drama, school stress, etc.. arent things that are worth the time and energy required to stress over them..

One of those days

Yesterday was deffiently one of those days..woke up to text messages i dont remember sending..fell out of bed when my alarm went off (which left me with a nice new bruise)...slept through most of my math class..slept half my day away..tripped up the stairs, down the stairs, and walking on a completely flat surface... mind racing all day...not exactly an awesome day..However it did pick up some. Went to the beach to walk off my frustrations with Amanda and Nicky, had a lovely gossip sesh. Had a nice dinner, worked out, ended up at Matts house again and ended the night with my girlies and ramon noodles:] Today, however...another one of those days. Its only 3pm and my day sucks. I was apparently mentally exhausted from yesterday and hit snooze to many times this morning to the point that my alarm just decided to stop going off. My first class was at 8am...I finally woke up at 12pm. Slept right through both my morning classes, lunch, and almost missed my art class. Great huh? And to make things even better..people suck. haha. I could really use a nice pick me up right about now..or a major distraction.

But on a lighter note, my brothers coming up to visit me this weekend:] Which im ohhso excited about. He's never been one to quite enjoy school, and the thought of college isnt all that appealing to him..so Im hoping this visit gets him excited about going to college and going away to school instead of staying home and going to community college. I want to show him that yes Im at school, which has responsibilities and can be a lot of work, but I still have plenty of time to do my own shit and have funn. I mean who else can say they go to class, take a two hour nap, then spend the rest of the day at the beach?? So hes going to shadow me one friday, go with me to my two morning classes (which are my learning community classes which are both based off of sports) then I will show him around, go get some lunch, and if its nice out, most likely end up at the beach:] Im excited.

later....deffiently went to the playground by the parking garage with amanda:]...weare so lame. But i found my name on a plague that was put there when I was like 7, I was soooo happy, it deffiently made my day. I actually went to work outs tonight (knee pooped out) but after workouts instead of going running I went longboarding which was absolutely loverlyyy. Worked out a lot of my shit, and the weather is beautimous. I love it here, and I really need to learn not to fret the small things..and just enjoy my life and I got to stop being so damn OCD, puts a damper on my day. haha. Right now amanda and I are being oh so adorible sitting on st.george street outside a little pub just on our computers listening to music, enjoying the weather:] I.Love.College

College life

So I stumbled across this ancient blog I started in middle school and freshman year of highschool...Looking back at these older posts have been quite amusing...I have grown up quite a bit since then:P Im a freshman in college now, Flagler College woopwoop. I absolutely love it here. Ive made a great group of friends:] have a cute little college family, my professors are cool and my classes dont competely suck. For being a strict campus, dry and no interdorm visitation, we still have a blast and go hard like champs. And I absolutely love the small campus atmosphere, veryy homey and you really get to know people. I barely miss home (minus my family who I miss a lot), satellite beach just doesnt compare to st.augustine.

Well, now that I have found this lovely blog of mine Im going to try and start writing on a regular basis again. I could deffiently use the outlet thats fersuree, not that anyones probably ever going to read these, Its good to write your shit out sometimes. Tonights topic is going to be boys, haha what else is new:P (boys= the common denominator in all my previous posts). Since i've been at college..i've gone a tad, for lack of better words, boy crazy...So heres the question, which i think most college girls asks themselves...do you let yourself actually like the guys you "hook up" with? Or do you chalk it all up to drunken nights of fun. Iv met a lot of great guys here, sadly my "numbers" at 7...which isnt as bad as amandas 10:P but when do you step back, stop the drunken nights of fun and stick with one guy? how do you differentiate between actual feelings and the influence of liquid courage? I know most kids arent looking for relationships, especially freshman year of college, I am one of those kids...but curiousity deffiently killed the cat...

But there's no need to stress the little things, like the confusing opposite sex... Whats meant to be will be, and you just gotta sit back and enjoy the ride untill then

okay im exhausted. yesterday i worked 10 1/2 hours and today i worked 8 1/2 hours at the dance recital thing. im soo tired. i sat like three times the whole weekend haha everythings sore and i have bruises everywhere. today i freaking full on trip as im clearing the stage of props and eat it in front of everyone. it was quite embarrassing. haha well then tonight after we cleaned up everthing and loaded the trailer we went to friendlys it was fun :] iv become and expert spitball spitter hahaha. now im watching saved by the bell. nothing planned yett for tomorrow besides sleeping in really really later.

Thusday

NO MORE SCHOOL! haha summer 08 baby! our last day was tuesday. and it didnt even feel like the last day of school. i had biology and science research. the day went by superduper fast. and right after school i went to the beach with sam tom and malcom. seth and quinn came later and we saw nick wesley and brandon and they hung out for a bit. then i went home and took a shower and went to doubles with samantha after her dance. it was fun :] like everyone was there. me and ryan broke up finally. we've been stretching it out for like 2 weeks. yeah he pulled a pretty dick move? but w.e im over it and i deffiently didnt let it ruin my night. me and sam hung out till around 10 and then went back to her house. then we woke up at 450!! how crazy? cuz we went to pelican to watch the sunrise. no one actually thought wed do it. but we did :] perfect way to start of summer. nikki malcom seth jen and mrs.tom came too. we didnt actually think malcom would go? but he was the first one there haha. it was jens birthday so after we watched the sunrise we went to bagel world for breakfast and then back again to the beach. we just hung out at pelican till i dont remember when. we had quite a few sand fights and some how played chicken on the rocks? and nikki yanked my top off for the world to see twice! haha it was kinda funny, but also embarrassing. well then we went back to sams for a little bit but then her family went out to lunch so we came to my house. we spent most of the time out in the canal ffloating on this little raft thing. they sunk the kayaks like 4 times, which was amusing for me and samantha to watch. they all left around 2ish and i just hung out here. i was sooo tired i fell asleep on the couch for like 2 hours. it was fantastic :] haha then today i didnt really do much. i "watched" alec and oban this morning and then i went to my dads office to learn how to do some things so i can take care of stuff while the crews in costa. i was going to go to the satellite waitroom work out but lke no freshmen were going and i didnt want to go by myself, even tho we arent technically freshmen anymore :] then tonight im going to beach from 630-8 and jennas comeing over for one of our overdue movies nights and we are getting up and going to the beach tomorrow, idk which beach though prolly just pelican. theres supose to be little waves tomorrow too which makes me pretty exciting cuz i havent been able to try out my new board yet. so im going to try and remember to keep writing. i know no one actually reads these but its nice to write stuff down sometimes.

wow. cant seem to remember to write? i dont even remember whats happened? was in st.augustine last weekend and ohboy was that intense :] going to be spending a lot of the summer up there. thursday was our first exam day, i had history. mrs.miles' room smelled like shit because her seniors played a freaking prank on her, sticking milk and eggs in her ceiling. and she had no AC so it got all gross and smelled like death. so gross. thenn yesterday my exams were english and math, my hardest subjects i dont even want to talk about it. haha. then after school me and cherish went shopping for matching bathingsuits for beachvolleyball which we started last weeks. we went to the reef office first and they ordered us some pretty cool "sport cut" suits. but they wont be in for another week or two. so we went to walmart and actually found really cute suits. i was like eww walmart? but theyr cute :] then we met emily and some of her friends up at pelican to play volleyball. it was fun. thenn i came home and fell asleep. haha i was sooooo tired. then i woke up early this morning cuz we had to be up at the cocoa beach pier by 8 for our beach volleyball tournament. me and cherish didnt do so hot..? haha but thats okay we had fun :] we have 3 or 4 more, and we'll be better by then..hopefully. then i got home at like 430ish and layed on the couch haha i was sooo tired i couldnt even do anything. i wanted to do something tonight but i just cant handle anything haha. so im watching movies :] and might be going to the beach tomorrow :] maybeee?

todays mothers day. and opps havent written in a really long time. but its not like anyone reads this or anything? haha anyways this has been a pretty fun weekend if i say so myself. friday night i threw a party at my house :] for brandi. birthday/going away party. she leaves the 22nd :/ my house was trashed after..and i got stuck cleaning it all up, but it was worth it. then yesterday i hung out with samantha. woke up and went to the beach. it was completlyyyy flat and the water was amazing. it was such a pretty day out. then we went to dekines and saw people :] haha then we went to this party thing for friends of her parents. and hung out there till like 930 and then i came home and passed out on the couch :] and me and samantha have decided that jen is going to date ether alec or brad haha. then this morning i woke up and i feel like shit. like i try and talk and nothing comes out out. iv been loosing my voice since friday. but now its completly gone. haha friday i sounded like a cross between a 13 year old boy and a chipmonk. yesterday it was a cross between michael jackson and a robot whos a heavy smoker. and today nothing, nada, gone. ohwell, i talk to much anyways. uhmm oh my padre and alec went out and bought a ping pong table last night. haha random i know. but its pretty cool. im really bad at it but ill master it. haha well anyways im not sure theres anything else really interesting, and i dont have anything planned this weekend i dont think. we might start a awesome movie nights on fridays again :]

asdjfka i have a headache :/ i dont think im sick? i just dont feel to good. anyways..sunday :] amazing. me and samantha face painted all day then hung out with ryan and zach later on. those little kids are adorible i just wanted to pinch their checks and give them a hug. after the walk samantha came over and we jumped in the canal and alec tryed to teach us backflips, 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 :] haha but we didnt attempt any. then we went outside and conquired the wave board thing. it was pretty intense. uhm yesterday nothing really and today nothing really. i was supose to go to volleyball practice but i just felt like crap and was like ha im not going anywhere. uhm yeah so nothing to exciting? that i can remember.

haha opps i didnt write all week. well tuesday i went to volleyball practice which was fun. i lost my voice tho? and herb had me playing a different position so my knee was like frieedddd. so its been pretty tight all week. then wednesday i went to a candlelighters meeting for community service hours, im face painting tomorrow at the crystal walk :] thenn thursday didnt really do antything, and yesterday just hung out for a bit with people then went to bed at like 11ish? cuz i got up earlyish today to surf. i got up at like 9 and got up to hightower at 1030ish, i had to ride my bike. the wavves were good :] i had fun. it was really clean and breaking pretty good. i have to work on a few things though. with my knee i have a sluggish pop up and tend to stand to far up on my board. but im working on it :] ill get it. zach came out surfing with bruce and there were a bunch of other kids there that i know but dont know know haha yeah. then came home at like 3ish and fell asleep on the couch. i missed alecs game :/ oh and i just watched I Am Legend. dude was that an intense movie. i was like sitting on the edge of my seat the wholeeee time. and now im watching the spongebob movie with alec :] haha arent we cool. and tomorrow im face painting at the crystal walk which starts at like 1 or 2pm but im going at 11 to help set up. samanthas comeing with and is going to hang out all day. so yeah :] exciting stuff man

Monday

man do i hate mondays. iv been sleep walking all day. i dont remember when the last time i wrote...but i think it was right before i left. well orlando was fun :] alec and i pretty much hung out the whole time and we got along for the most part (when he wasnt throwing chunks of plastic at my face) well when we got there we kinda explored hard rock a bit. the place was freaking huge, like to the point where we got lost at times. our rooms were rediculous, and our room keys were like credit cards, so i was able to charge anything and it went on my dads credit card :] haha. well thursday night we went and saw blue man group which was histarical. those guys were soooooo funny, i dont think iv laughed that hard in a really really long time. well then friday we went to universal, now that alecs not afraid to ride roller coaster, we had fun. then friday night we went to that show thing that sounds like circdus olay (which is not even close to how its really spelt) and it was really weird, but all the stunts and acribates was amazing. then besides that we just hung out at the pool and alec and i played intense ping pong :] which i found im really bad at. oh and i saw this kid andrew from 7th grade. he goes to viera now, i hit him with the ping pong ball...haha what are the odds? well then saterday i went surfing with alec for a couple hours, tyler mack was there. we didnt really talk much? i mean idk it was kinda awkward i really dont know why. i didnt really get going till after he left. cuz with my knee and crap i can only ride a certain wave and cant do anything "gutsy" or w.e so yeah. the winds changed and it turned crappy but i still caught a few. then saterday night was jennas party :] now was that fun. we all went out to dinner. i think there was like 7 of us? it was fun. the stopped seating people by us...haha. well then sunday i went shopping with samantha and i actually bought a dress! shocking iknow. im probably never going to wear it except to the beach or something. but its really cute, its hurley. and i bought some pretty awesome aviators haha. me and samantha had fun. we like "stalked" this kid (not really) but we like followed him cuz we had a suspision that he was gay and we couldnt tell if he was just cute from a far or he was really cute :] haha we're so cool. then today was just school. and nothing really exciting happened...i have practice tomorrow :] and waves are supose to pick back up mid to late week, which is exciting.

just woke up :] now im just watching tv. we leave for orlando today. im debating if i want to go surf for an hour or not. well Tuesday night ana and jenna stayed the night and we watched that movie awake then sydney white. awake was really really weird. i still cant decide if i liked it or if it was just strange haha. well they hung out here till lke 12ish then alec and i rode bikes up to check the waves. they looked fun, just really choppy. so we came home and i was going to go back out but i layed down and fell asleep on the couch :] haha so then i just went and hung out by the pool. just chilled the rest of the day. today we're going to get at the hard rock hotel around 2 or 3 and then we're going to go see the blue man group at 8. then tomorrow we're going to universal and tomorrow night i think we're going to circus ohlay or how ever you spell it? then we come home saterday and saterday nights jennas party :] so full weekend. sunday=only day without plans.

Tuesday

today was fun. so was yesterday :] so sunday night i ended up staying the night at nikki shivers. and we woke up and went to the beach. we just went out across from radio shack. so we're hanging out, we walked down to pelican saw some people then came back and i was like hmm these are perfect waves to teach you to surf. so nikki called her mom and was like i have an old board we can try? but i warn you its really crappy. so her mom brought the board and i was like ohmyyy. that thing looked like it was growing diseases. but we gave it a try anyways. nikkis mom brought me a boogie board so i paddled out on that. haha and we get out there and she cant even balance on it. so we were just like screw it and left it on the beach and went to dekines. well as we're walking up the board walk we see these two kids sitting there. so we smile and keep walking. well after we'v crossed the street we see the same two kids running across A1A with nikkis shitty board. haha it was so funny. well we ate and i called my mom too see if shed bring us the mad dog so i could push nikki into something. she brought it and we tryed again. this time we were much more successful :] she rode most in on her knees but shes getting there. then she went in to check her phone and i gave it a try. and i actually caught a few good ones. i ate shit a few times too since it was a really thick board and im use to mine. and i lost my surfaid braclet :/ right as i was paddleing in to go in. i was quite sad. we were freakin at the beach from like 10 till 4. but it was a good day. then i came home and fell asleep on the couch. well then today :] i went to the beach again, tables, with sam and nikki and we met eric there who was with cody adams. it was fun. i surfed a little bit. it was pretty choppy. but i cought a few nice ones. nikki swam out with me. and the only reason she stayed was cuz our "friend" next to us was pretty hott. haha anyways, tonight jenna and ana are coming over for one of our famous movie nights :] then tomorrow im probably going surfing again.

Just woke up :] no plans yet today. friday was fun. hung out with jenna and ana. then yesterday i spent all day at the beach with brandi alec and seth. tryed to teach brandi how to surf, but the waves were pretty choppy slop. but she did really good considering. i cought a few good ones. but my shoulders are superrrr sunburnt today. nothing else just my shoulder :/ well ten last night i hung out with alec, cuz the padres still sick. and today dont really have anything to do? tonight i might be going to see a movie at our crappy movie theater with jenna :]

This week was a pretty good week :] surfing monday, volleyball tuesday, surfing wednesday and thursday, and tonight im hanging out with jenna and ana. we're going to this school play thing? i saw the dress rehersial today and its pretty dang funny. so we're going to subway then over to the aduitorium. and yaaa SPRING BREAK!!! going to party it up mayne haha :] going to the beach tomorrow. going to teach brandi how to surf. planning on spending most of the week at the beach. need some real plans people :]. then at the end of the week going to orlando. staying at the hard rock hotel then going to universal and seeing the blue man group and circus olay. should be fun :] but my dads really sick :/ he managed to get phnomonia or how ever the heck you spell it. so hes been asleep on the couch all day. bummer for him.

Tuesday

Opps. its been a few days. uhmm nothing has happened really, was home sick all weekend. did go watch the soccer games on saterday :] alecs team lost...it was sad. well besides that nothing kick butt. oh oh i did go out surfing yesterday. it was great. it took me like 15 minutes to actually get out to the lineup cuz it was big and kinda choppy and i only caught a few waves cuz i havent been out in a while and i was riding a new board and i have a bum knee :] but im going to try and make it a point to get back out there. haha well i called brandi to see if she wanted to come with me cuz i didnt realize how big the waves were. so i rode my bike to the beach, checked the waves, got brandi, rode back to my house and got the boards, then rode back to the beach. well haha while we were leaving my neighborhood a biggg gust of wind game and wind and and open board dont go to well. i was okay cuz how i was riding, but the wind caught brandis board and flew her to the other side of the street and she totally lost control and then ate crap. full on, face first. haha i felt reallly bad cuz she was laying in the middle of the road and i couldnt do much but it was soooo funny. and like after she got out of the middle of the street the cars that had backed up drove by me and some teenager leans outa the cars and yells "dude your girls just ATE IT!" haha i was like yeah thats brandi :] then we got to the beach and the waves were wayyyy to big for her but she was like nah its all right ill go out. and she almost did, i was proud. well after about a hour and a half id drifted into no mans land and the last kid that was out went in so i was like ehh ill go home, by now brandi had left. so i came in and rode my bike back to my house. haha i was quite tired. then tonight i had a 7-9 practice and herb actually worked us. im going to be like dead tomorrow. but my stomach muscles are shapen up which is pretty exciting if you ask me :]

Friday

dude. concert last night, freaking AMAZING. the conditions, meece, and phantom plantet opened for paramore. the conditions are a newish band but they were really really good. meece was different? they guy kinda danced...gaylike. but they were pretty good. then ohmygosh phantom planet!!! i did not know they were opening. they were holy crap good. as goo if not better than paramore. we got to meet all of the opening bands outside. they were signing autographs and what not. i got a paramore shirt and a phantom planet shirt and all of phantom plantets signatures. then paramore came on and ahhh so good. me and samantha were rocking out and it was great. then after the concert we went and got coffee at starbucks on city walk. it was really nice out, cool and pretty. today i slept in till 10, took a shower, then went to school just in time for lunch. perfect. haha well the rest of the day went by prtty slow. till 7th :] hung out with jenna. and had fun as always. haha we went to the research lab and disposed of our stuff. haha it was funny. and im exhausted so made no plans tonight. was going to hang with jenna but shes going to that beach boys concert haha :P tomorrow i have alecs game then maybe going to relay for life maybe not sure. then i want to go to the beach on sunday :] if anyone wants to come with.

boo. still sick. stayed home once again. i do feel betterish? but not a whole lot. i am planning on going to school tomorrow, i think because concert thursday!!! :] cant wait man. me and samantha. not much more to say. haha :] well today my day was a bust. hung with my best friend..couch. haha yeah. oh i did get new flip flops though. a bunch! they are suposidly "better" for me like knee wise blahblahblah. but i think its just my dads excuse to get me to advertise the neww styles. which im a-okay with :] uhmm yeah no volleyball tonight. herb not to happy. tournament this weekend. out of tissues.

sooo..yeah. my life=boringness. i know. maybe someting exciting will happen tomorrow (doubt it) but anyways i shall write tomorrow.

blahdyblahness. being sick sucks. i stayed home today. felt horrible. but im hopefully going to be better tomorrow. i gotta get better because CONCERT!!! in only like 3 days. so yeah im doing everything to help. well i slept in almost 10 then layed around and watched tv all day. haha i watched the greek marathon :] new episode o n now. yeah iknow im cool. well tomorrow im hopefully going to school but i have volleyball practice...which probably wouldnt be to smart to go to. but i do have a volleyball tournament this weekend :] should be fun
